The Maclean Hotel is situated in the centre of town and on the main street. The Maclean Hotel is the only pub in town with spectacular views and access to the Clarence River. Maclean is approximately 650km North of Sydney and 3 hours South of Brisbane. Maclean is easily located just 3 minutes off the Pacific Highway in the centre of town.

Maclean is the famous for its Scottish heritage and has been proclaimed the “Scottish Town of Australia” Maclean celebrates its Scottish heritage every year with the Highland Gathering held during the Easter Long Weekend and also Scottish Week in July.

The historic town of Maclean is situated in Northern New South Wales on the pristine Clarence River. Maclean is only 45 minutes north of Grafton, 15 minutes from Yamba and 3 minutes off the Pacific Highway

Maclean is a fantastic spot to drop a line and enjoy the day fishing, or spend the day cruising around on the Clarence River. There is also a beautiful 18hole Golf Course just out of town, and local museums and heritage walks for you to enjoy. The Maclean Hotel has a great atmosphere to dine for both Lunch and Dinner or to simply relax with a wine or a cold ale and watch the sun go down over the Clarence River.
